Be Smart About Who To Ask For Advice…
Stop listening to Uncle Sam, or Uncle Mike, or Uncle Dillard. People have a tendency to ask family and friends, those closest to them, about what to do in life and how to do it. They share their goals and dreams and they’re often met with negativity and nay-sayers. Most of the time, it’s not intentional that those we love want to hold us back, it’s just they can’t envision what we can.
So think about it, are those people REALLY qualified to give advice on such matters? If I want to learn something new or go after a specific goal, I seek out people who have already accomplished what I want to do. I ask someone who’s been down that road how to get there!
